Kisah Serigala Dan Anak Kambing

Pada suatu hari hiduplah seekor kambing kecil yang tanduknya mulai tumbuh.

Hal itu membuat dia berpikir bahwa saat itu dia sudah dewasa dan bisa menjaga dirinya sendiri.

Suatu sore ketika gerombolan kambing mulai pulang ke peternakan kembali dan ibunya sudah memanggilnya.

Anak kambing tersebut tidak memperhatikan dan memperdulikan panggilan ibunya.

Dia tetap tinggal di lapangan rumput tersebut dan mengunyah rumput-rumput yang halus disekelilingnya.

Beberapa saat kemudian ketika dia mengangkat kepalanya. Dia melihat gerombolan kambing termasuk ibunya sudah tidak ada lagi.

Sekarang dia tinggal sendirian. Matahari sudah terbenam.

Bayangan panjang mulai menutupi tanah. Angin dingin mulai datang bertiup dan membuat suara yang menakutkan.

Anak kambing tersebut mulai gemetar karena takut dia akan bertemu dengan serigala.

Kemudian dia mulai lari sekencang-kencangnya melewati lapangan rumput untuk pulang ke peternakan. Anak kambing sambil mengembik-embik memanggil ibunya. Tetapi di tengah jalan, dekat pohon perdu, apa yang ditakutkan benar-benar terjadi.

Seekor serigala telah berdiri di sana memandangnya dengan wajah lapar.

Kambing kecil itu tahu bahwa kecil harapan untuk dia bisa lolos dari sergapan serigala tersebut. “Tolonglah, tuan Serigala,” katanya dengan gemetar. “Saya tahu kamu akan memakan saya.Tetapi pertama kali, nyanyikanlah saya sebuah lagu dengan suling mu, karena saya ingin menari dan bergembira selama saya bisa.”

Serigala tersebut menyukai gagasan dari kambing kecil tadi, bermain musik sebelum makan.

Jadi serigala itu mengeluarkan serulingnya dan mulai memainkan lagu gembira dan kambing kecil itu meloncat-loncat menari bergembira.

Sementara gerombolan kambing tadi bergerak pulang ke peternakan.

Di keheningan sore yang mulai beranjak gelap, suara seruling dari serigala sayup-sayup terdengar. Anjing-anjing gembala yang menjaga gerombolan kambing tersebut lansung menajamkan telinganya dan mengenali lagu yang dimainkan oleh serigala.

Dengan cepat anjing-anjing gembala tersebut lari ke arah serigala tersebut dan menyelamatkan kambing kecil yang sedang menari-nari.

Serigala yang hendak memakan kambing kecil tadi akhirnya lari dikejar-kejar oleh anjing gembala. Serigala berpikir betapa bodohnya dia, memainkan lagu dengan seruling untuk si kambing kecil pada saat dia seharusnya sudah menerkamnya langsung.

Hidup ini singkat. Fokus pada apa yang penting dan lepaskan apa yang tidak penting.
