Siapakah Helen Keller? Helen Keller adalah tokoh besar. Ia seorang penulis, aktivis, dan juga dosen.

Helen Keller dilahirkan tepat 133 tahun lalu di Tuscumbia, Alabama pada 27 Juni 1880.

Ketika ia menginjak usia 19 bulan, Keller terkena penyakit yang membuatnya menjadi buta dan tuli. Sejak itu ia jadi anak yang liar, keras kepala, kasar, dan cenderung merusak.

Kedua orangtuanya sampai hampir angkat tangan karena tak berhasil mengendalikannya. Pada saat usianya 7 tahun, akhirnya ada juga guru yang sabar menangani Helen Keller. Guru itu adalah Anne Sullivan.
