Ada dua pengemis si A dan si B. Suatu hari diberi uang oleh seseorang, masing masing diberikan Rp 1.000.000. Lalu, ada orang lain yang melihat (Sintiya, Awandari, dan Suzy). Melihat kejadian tersebut,

  • Si Sintiya berkata, “Wah, dia orang baik ya, pengemis aja dikasih uang Rp 1.000.000.”
  • Si Awandari berkata, “Dia orangnya sombong, masa ngasih pengemis aja Rp 1.000.000.”
  • Si Suzy berkata, “Orang itu tidak mendidik, pengemis kok dikasih Rp 1.000.0000. Nanti dia ngemis lagi.”

Satu kejadian yaitu pengemis yang diberikan uang Rp 1.000.000. Bisa mengundang macam-macam arti dari macam-macam orang yang melihatnya.

Jika Anda melihat orang yang selalu memberi arti negatif terhadap apa pun yang terjadi, segalanya akan menjadi negatif. Dikasih bunga pun bisa jadi dia berpikiran, “Mau nyantet ya? Saya tolak.”

Sekali lagi, apa pun yang terjadi dalam kehidupan ini tidak akan ada artinya kecuali Anda memberikan arti pada kehidupan Anda.
